Cadence Michael-Almasi
TRAUMA THERAPIST & CLINICAL COUNSELLOR
Hi! My name is Cadence. I work as a therapist, and some other important parts of my life include being a wife, a dog-parent, and being the best advocate that I can be for all things nature and wildlife. I love working with horses and plan to integrate this into my future work. My journey as a therapist started back in my undergraduate degree while researching human curiosity and learning. Since graduating with a Master’s Degree in Counselling, I have focused my clinical training on the complex legacies of attachment and trauma and work with folks who are willing to get curious about their internal worlds.
I am a dual-registered Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), living and working in the Fraser Valley. Outside of Crescent Therapy, I work at a provincially mandated women’s resource agency as a trauma therapist within the Stopping the Violence program.
I strive for everyone to feel welcomed, cared for, and valued in my work.
